Using Twitter with Other Social Networks

If you use Twitter and Facebook as well as many other popular social networks, it is probably a good idea to use tools that help you connect with more than one of them at once. Here are a few helpful Twitter tools that you can use to access multiple platforms.
AlertThingy allows you to update Twitter, Facebook, Digg, FriendFeed, Tumblr, Flickr and more. The display is similar to TweetDeck and you can access all of your contacts from this desktop tool. You can also download news feeds onto this Twitter app.
You can access AIM, Google Talk, Twitter, Jabber and more with a tool called Digsby. You can chat with friends, receive email alerts when you get new messages, and post to Twitter. Digsby combines email, social networking and chat all in the same application.
Ping.fm is a popular app that you can use to access multiple social media platforms. You can view all of your profiles and update each of your statuses simultaneously. You can also send instant messages and texts on Ping.fm to up to 50 different accounts within one minute.
Another application you can use is SocialToo. You can integrate Twitter and Facebook to manage following, unfollowing, blacklisting, and blocking unwanted direct messages. You can set up SocialToo to connect with Facebook updates and MySpace as well as Twitter.
You can save yourself a lot of time using these Twitter apps and tools. They can help you stay connected to a number of other social networks without having to log on and type in your updates separately.
