Support for online activities comes naturally to the clever interface and the Android 2.1 OS also supplies some useful online aspects which include YouTube compatibility and full access to the Android Market which is loaded with thousands upon thousands of applications ready to be downloaded, and with an expandable memory up to 32GB via microSD card, users will have plenty of potential space to build a collection.
Users will benefit from the Flipout’s ability to integrate social networking into the overall experience. Full management of accounts from all the big names including Facebook and Twitter is possible with dedicated applications for each. You also get a universal inbox which displays any e-mails, SMS messages or social network updates you have received. The keyboard is well sized and there is ample space for your fingers to accurately type large messages and e-mails at speed.
Internet connectivity is provided by Wi Fi while 3G network coverage is also standard protocol these days. The web browser allows for a full browsing experience while there is basic support for flash content. Google Maps, GM StreetView and eCompass are but a few of the applications that have been supported by the A-GPS receiver to deliver navigational aid to those who may be struggling for bearings.
The Motorola Flipout makes the most of its 3Mp digital camera to supply users with a decent photographic experience; it will handle any day-to-day snaps you attempt and film high resolution videos at between 15-24 frames per second.
