i cant find this app in the market, i downloaded twitter 1.0.5 but it doesn’t have the twitter bird at the bottom flapping its wings & showing the trends either. i have the vibrant with android 2.1 what going on?

You mean twitter came out with official android twitter app.
If you want old-style retweets in this official app, install ReTweet from the Android Market. Then you can use old-style retweets using in the official app.
This app is PERFECT for me! I love it. I’ll never use another Twitter app.
