The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 White is an Android touch screen handset providing both ease of use through the intuitive user interface alongside plenty of entertainment. You can download more apps form the Android Market, as well as find your way with the GPS, and take photos and videos as you go with the 3.2 megapixel camera.
The handset features a four-corner home screen allowing you to place an icon shortcut of your choice in each corner of the screen, for fast access to the applications and features you use the most. Use the onscreen QWERTY keypad to easily input text and use the simple touch parameters to navigate around your phone. The handset can also be rotated between portrait and landscape with the interface automatically rotating likewise. Use the WebKit web browser to view full web pages with their correct standards and protocols, allowing images to be viewed properly also. You can also use the touch controls to pan and zoom over information.
The Xperia X8 White offers a 3.2 megapixel camera allowing you to capture your best moments in either images or videos which you can then share with friends easily through the many email, messaging and social networking features presented by the phone. The easy to use email client allows you to check emails form wherever you are, while Conversations provides chat-style text messaging in addition to picture messaging. This is all aided by predictive text input. Social networks are also integrated including Facebook application, and Twitter with Timescape which provides all information in one single view between you and a friend.
Connectivity is provided by the WiFi and 3G internet connections available, you choose. For file sharing there is Bluetooth and USB with support for mass storage allowing you to migrate many files from the handset to a computer quickly. The internal aGPS antenna meanwhile supports Google Maps providing route planning and directions also, while Wisepilot offers a complete turn by turn navigation facility to guide you form A to B. Additionally there is a 3.5mm audio jack connector for headphones when enjoying music through the Music Player application which offers easy track and album selection, including album art. Meanwhile, you can download more with the TPlayNow app, or find music that you hear with the impressive TrackID.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 White has a sleek design with a 3 inch touch screen display offering a simplistic user interface into the Android operating system which combines power with messaging and entertainment. It also offers multiple applications for download, which can run alongside each other also.
