Question about free access to twitter and facebook on my new phone plan?

Okayy, so I just signed up to a $29 cap plan with optus, gettin an HTC Aria
The plan includes free access to twitter and Facebook, so does that mean if I use the android apps for twitter and facebook it will not count towards my data used or do I need to use the mobile web app and go onto the facebook/twitter for mobile website for the data not to be counted

  1. Optus says:

Hey Ben, anything that uses the Facebook or Twitter domain to access the websites will not be counted towards your data allowance :)

This will include the Facebook and Twitter apps that you can use to access these on your handset.

If there’s any further queries on this don’t hesitate to send me some info via http://yesopt.us/ID
