Do windows mobile phones have applications?

I am looking to purchase a new phone, and I saw one I really liked. The phone used a windows mobile operating system though. I want apps (applications) on my phone such as; Facebook, YouTube, twitter, Skype mobile, etc. I know android systems have them, but do windows operating systems have them?

Yes. I have an HTC HD2 and it originally had Windows Mobile 6.5 on it. There is a Windows Marketplace that you can download from and also there is a free marketplace you can find online. People have been developing for Windows and Windows mobile for quite some time, so there are many apps you can find! I installed Android on mine because it’s available and I love Android, but I had some cool games, a good Twitter client, a good Foursquare app, and a lot of other things on my phone running WinMo. Windows Phone 7 is supposed to be pretty sweet, too!
